Writing preference : poetry or novels

Writing Program: I write on my laptop by day in the conservatory in my cottage overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with the ships passing and the planes flying overhead. I find the sea view and landscaped garden a tranquil and peaceful setting to write. I often play with music in the background and prefer to work into the late hours of the night.
First Novel: It is about feminism and the strength women can draw for each other and the lengths they will go to, to protect their children and family. It is dedicated to mum who believed in me even I struggled as a writer.
